You don't need a captcha, so the fact you mentioned malware tells me it's the MS. Don't get me started on dump the MS again for Linux, Android, Mac or something else that don't get malware. Get technology that's newer and not something over 5 years old. This day and age it is no longer a problem (with the right operating system) and should be forgotten. I can't figure for the life of me why people put up with this abuse, and then complain about it over and over again. Get a different computer (nothing personal, just pragmatic advice).
As for the site itself, it reeks of liberalism. More Obamacare type propaganda. No, doctors don't make one healthier anyway (the exception being trauma medicine). If I go once-in-a-blue-moon to a doctor for a bad cold (probably due to my carelessness with my health) I have to fight tooth and nail to keep them from trying to coerce me into taking more drugs be it blood pressure, cholesterol or some other do-nothing medicine that will only empty my wallet, not make me live longer, and make them rich.
Did you hear the latest? Some states like New York make it a DUI for even prescription medicine,or any similar impairment like alcohol and so it is illegal to take them. Yet, the same administration is going to make it illegal one day (you watch) for not taking mandated medicines. Just another example of this baby plopper generation with their contradictory, liberal ways, and then blaming the common man for the mess it creates like it's their fault.
Yea ok. I will go outside now and pick $1000 off a tree and go upgrade my computer.
that's old, that law has been in place for some time. frankly because of my dads near miss with death three times from being "tired" from his anti-seizure meds I agree with that law. its not that you cant drive just that if you know it makes you tired and too much in a stupor to drive then you simply shouldn't.
the meds for epilepsy are often THE SAME for use in bi polar. depakane, Depakote, etc all work like that , Zoloft, etc also. but get this I get drunk and tired and will not take benedryl during the day, within minutes I cant walk. so I don't take it. so if do so knowing that and kill a person. I should be held liable.Yeah, and I agree with the law on this one, too. But can you point out who these days are not on anti-depression meds, drowsy anti-allergy meds, narcotics for pain, or just plain sick or tired (maybe sick and tired), etc etc? Conservatively, I'm probably talking half the population that should not be driving at any given time as a DUI. The subject of this thread is about the underprivileged having access to proper medical care resulting in health. And I'm saying in effect that except for the trauma situations I mentioned earlier, most people equate better medical care with more pills -- that's what they really want, and what most doctors are willing to push. I heard that something like 70% of medical costs come from -- pills, visits and tests (perhaps some questionable therapy as well). Not surgery, not direct emergency intervention of sorts, or anything like that, the real medical science.
I know because my wife works for a workman's comp type doctor who basically works with injuries. Lots of entitlement types who just want more scripts for narcotics and such. So while they are warned by the ladies in the office about them taking too much (because the patients often claim they "lose" their medicines), the doctor on the other hand is more than willing to write out another drug script. Makes them mad sometimes. This is what is going on the road-- some stagger in clearly unable to drive safely.
If I ever go to a medical doctor again, I ought to take a state trooper with me so that the next "number lowering drug" they try to push on me I can have the state trooper ask, "You want him to get a DUI?"It's either avoid the drugs, or don't drive, that is, unless that's what they want is less people on the road? But that gets into conspiracy stuff. I'll give government the benefit of the doubt here as ask the question why this contradiction? Can someone help me here understand this?

well I can say the same with beer. florida has the basically made it unlawful to drive with .02 bac or higher. they wont arrest you for being under .08 bac but they wont let your drive.
florida is really hard on that stuff. we in one year killed pill mills. that is also why im not voting for medical mj, theres no oversight! And again, I agree with you 110% Jason. The law is right on this. If someone is a danger, they should not drive. You would not want a drunk (or under the influence of anything) airline pilot, either. And this is why truckers must take a mandatory break every so often so they don't drive sleepy as well.
Of course I was mocking the over prescribed drugs. Now I understand that sometimes they are needed, but more times than not people feel psychologically coerced to take them because the doctor told them how sick they were when indeed they said they felt just fine. And I would love to get more state troopers involved because if a bartender knowingly left a patron drive drunk, he'd be in trouble. And I'd like to see those who push this same medicinal junk held to the same standard, and not get away Scot-free because they are professionals in cahoots with the pharmaceuticals. All the time while blaming on the guy who was told what to do and just following orders. That's downright sick.
