I'm at a place where I need to emphasize the Love of God, or so says my Pentecostal friend....without sacrificing the importance of repentance and spotting sin.

So...any good places to go for that? Popular ministers, websites, etc. ?

Who does your Pentecostal friend advise?

Jimmy Swaggert...he's back in business. I was looking for some more ideas.

Why don't you pray for God to guide and direct you for this need?

I am praying...I just need stuff to read and people to watch on youtube or whatever. I was saved by Pentecostals, but raised and later counseled by Calvinists. I'm a little bit confused, honestly.

I never cared much for Jimmy Swaggert, he yelled too much.

David Wilkerson just passed away a couple years ago but there are youtube videos of him preaching. He was a really cool guy and an awesome servant to the Lord.
You might appreciate the book, " The Cross and the Switch Blade" maybe you have read it seeing he was the founder of Teen Challenge. It the true story of how this ministry began. It was made into a movie, too.

"Wilkerson also founded Teen Challenge, a Christian outreach program for troubled young people and recovering drug addicts, which currently has more than 100 centers nationwide."

This is my favorite quote from that book.

Nicky Cruz: You come near me and I'll kill you!

David Wilkerson: Yeah, you could do that. You could cut me up into a thousand pieces and lay them in the street, and every piece will still love you.”
David Wilkerson, The Cross and the Switchblade

I do understand he is a Pre-trib believer but I have not read or researched enough about him to give an opinion.I do like Dr.Charles Stanley.

I like Charles Stanley, too.

End times beliefs mean little to nothing to me as far as the good preacher/teacher goes.

Yeah................................................. The Bible.

In there, you will find that you have not one single thing to do with judging the sins of others. Do we think we can kick God off the judgment seat, and somehow take His job?

If you feel you need practice in "spotting sin", just stand in front of a mirror for awhile.
