Seeing as movies and television are discussed here. I could not help but want to post a topic on this. There are two films in particular that come to mind to me in light of the holidays that I rather enjoy and would like to know other's thoughts on. These films are:

Its A Wonderful Life

And....

White Christmas

Two more Christmas faves... :D

Scrooge~ I like the ancient version from the forties, the main character becomes repentant thou not toward God~ just his fellow men.

AND Charlie Brown Christmas... in which the Christmas story from Luke chapter two is quoted by Lynus to answer the question, "What is Christmas really all about?" The cool part of this flick is that Lynus is about five years old and carries his blanket about for security. Yet he has beautifully understood the truths of scripture. It closes with the children all singing a real Christmas carole, one that confirms the true reason for the season. :thumb

BTW~ one can still buy this in Wal Mart... surprising.

Joy to the World~ a Savior is born! bonnie

Scrooge....as in the musical version? As in "I Like Life?" There are so many Christmas Carol movies out there that sometimes I just cannot keep track of them all.

Charlie Brown Christmas...that is one of my hubby's personal favorites other than It's A Wonderful Life. Favorite part on my account is that of which you mentioned. The quoting of Luke. Pretty awesome huh!

Thank you for sharing some thoughts on some Christmas films.
