For a while, I've not really liked church songs. Leaving aside my opinions about the music itself, the songs have been to my mind iffy, I simply couldn't sing them with much mental assent. So, a couple of years ago, I tried my hand at a bit of song writing, with I hope some fair results.

I'm not much of a musician, and harmony especially tends to be confusing to me, so some of these short videos have only a melody, other times I tried to do four-part harmony, and even a few times some very simple drum and bass accompaniment for songs with a more contemporary feel.

I'll only post a couple of videos. This one is for a song called Most Holy. I think it's one of the better songs, as it deals with some aspects of God's character that may be difficult--His justice is holy, He commands us to be holy as He Himself is holy, His love and grace are holy.

This next one is called Who Can Save Me?, and it has a bit of something extra in the description. Someone in a social media group I was in for a while took this song, added the chorus to a popular hymn (yes, I know what it is like to be Matt Redmon-ed 😁),and there's a link to it in the description. Give it a listen, I think they did a good job with it, it sounds nice.

There are several more, if you're curious. I tend to write such songs in fits and starts, so I can't say when I may add anything.
