Some would remain poor

After going through the thread: http://www.christianforums.net/f15/$$$-what-would-you-do-if-you-won-lottery-$$$-38657/index2.html ' I decided to do this thread:
Believe it or not, some people will remain poor throughout life. It does not mean God hates them. And the irony is, God will always meet you at the point of your need - and you can't get wretched!
And some would remain wealthy throughout life. Some would remain in the middle or where they are.
Some would remain wealthy, some wealthy ones would later lose their wealth while some poor ones would eventually be made wealthy.
---------------------------
The worst thing that could happen to this world is when we all get rich! God forbid. The world would just end

I'm new to this forum, and just started reading these posts. I read the lottery one, and was thinking to myself that after giving a lot of the money away, I'd go broke buying cars and motorcycles, and would end up selling them because I'd be in the hole trying to pay for insurance, upkeep, etc., just to be back to where I am now, living paycheck to paycheck. I know I would be dangerous with money, and I believe that I am not meant to be rich. One passage I live by (or be reminded of when I feel I am coveting) in the bible is Proverbs 30:7-9 (ESV):

"Two things I ask of you; deny them not to me before I die: Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me, lest I be full and deny you and say, "Who is the LORD?" or lest I be poor and steal and profane the name of my God. "

So, I try not to think of what would happen if I became rich, because I feel that as long as God provides for us what we need, and not what we want, we will be fine.

Welcome to the forum, Dan :wave

I like the verses you quoted.
God deliberately prevents some from getting very rich because He knows some would end up perishing in it. Only very few can still remain very rich and not offend God.
-------------------------
I love someone like Job who was very rich and was a righteous man before God; I love someone like Lazarus who despite his condition remained faithful to God.
Isn't it better when we rely upon God - since He would always provide for us?
Philippians 4:19 NKJV,
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Some associate themselves with the 'middle class' thing. No matter the class - God is our Help.
Psalm 50:15 and John 15:7 are encouragements
Superb!
