Someone asked, "Did Jesus sin"?

Short answer to the question: "No"! Another question, "Did you sin"? What if I tell you, "No"?! Would you wonder, "What is he SMOKING"?! Do you want to see the answer? Check out the Word of God!

Romans 7:18. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin (devils) that dwelleth in me. 21. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

Genesis 4:5-7, New English Bible, Oxford Press, 1971

"The Lord received Abel and his gift with favor; But Cain and his gift the Lord did not receive. Cain was very angry and his face fell. Then the Lord said to Cain, Why are you so angry and cast down? If you do well you are accepted; if not SIN IS A DEMON crouching at the door. It shall be eager for you, and you will be mastered by it".

Atonement at work

Enoch 10:4 And again the Lord said to Raphael: 'Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening 5 in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may 6, 7 not see light. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire. And heal the earth which the angels have corrupted, and proclaim the healing of the earth, that they may heal the plague, and that all the children of men may not perish through all the secret things that the 8 Watchers have disclosed and have taught their sons. And the whole earth has been corrupted 9 through the works that were taught by Azazel: to him ascribe all sin.'

Leviticus 16:16. And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness. 17. And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel. 18. And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the Lord, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about. 19. And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel. 20. And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat: 21. And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the (the devil) goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: 22. And the goat (the devil) shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited (the bottomless pit): and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

Atonement FINISHED results in “SIN IS A DEMONâ€Â!

1 John 3:8. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Did Israel commit sin against God and Moses in the wilderness?

Numbers 23:19. God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? 20. Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. 21. He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them. 22. God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn. 23. Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

Did YOU commit sin?

2 Corinthians 5:18. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Well whatever I AM “SMOKINGâ€Â, you need to get some too! You will be Most High!

Isaiah 55:7. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Can you see the children dancing around the Throne? I can!!!

Revelation 5:11. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; 12. Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, honour, and glory, and blessing. 13. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. 14. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Now answer the question! Did YOU commit sin?

Romans 3:3. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4. God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Isaiah 55:8. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

If your answer is, "Yes" to did YOU sin?, check this out!

1 Corinthians 13:9. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Are man's thoughts better than God's thoughts and man's ways more perfect than God's ways?

Forget your "know in part" human wisdom from "seeing through a glass darkly". That which is PERFECT is here, namely the thoughts of your Father! Believe God and discover greater peace!

James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

John,
GOOD NEWS, Inc. :P :D

greetings

for all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God

this is pretty self explanatory - no man is sinless

it is written of Jesus - He was with out sin but had to come as The Man so as to fulfill phrophacy

this is probably a summery of the above ( sorry it is rather long but looks from skiming thoughrough )

JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE AS A RANSOM

A ransom is something that brings the deliverance of a person held captive. Jesus' "perfect" human life was given to obtain mankind's release from bondage to sin and death. Because
Adam, when he became a sinner, passed sin and death on to his children, including all humans now living. People, therefore, have been dying because of the sin that was inherited from Adam. How was it possible, then for the sacrifice of Jesus' life to free all people from bondage to sin and death?
A legal principle in God's Law for the nation of Israel is involved. It states that "life should be given for life". Exodus 21:23 Jesus Christ gave his own "perfect life" to buy back what Adam lost". Jesus gave himself a "corresponding ransom for all". 1 Timothy 2:5,6 Because Jesus was a perfect man, even as Adam had been, that is why Jesus is called "the last Adam". No one else other than Jesus could have provided the ransom. This is because Jesus is the only man who ever lived that was equal to Adam as a "perfect human son of God". Luke 1:32; 3:38

greetings

Adam was the one of whom God said in Genesis because of your sin..... the earth shall bear thorns ect but the Bible is also equaly clear we have something called origional sin that is although adam sinned and eve sinned when they thought they knew better than God we still have responsibility for our own bad thoughts and words and deeds - this is what sin is and right from birth we are sinfull.

for some one to be loved they have to be able to choose not to be loved - for by its nature love is a free choice. God tested Adam and Eves love by testing weather they would do as He asked.
we also read in the phrophets - especily Isiah that The Devil was the leading angel in Heaven and he led a rebelion with a lot of the angels aginst God. now he got thrown out of heaven along with the rebel angels - these are the demons of the NT.
now because the Devil got thrown out of heaven He was angry and looking for a way to get back at God. God made man perfect . one of the Devils names in the Bible is the father of lies. he twisted Gods words to Adam and Eve by saying Did God realy say you cannot eat from any tree in the garden - when God had prohibited 1 tree - that of the knowledge of good and evil. through His insinuations and lies adam and eve thought they knew better than God.

why did God let sin into the world? it sayd in Deuteronomy the hidden things belong to God but the reveled things belong to man .

one of the names for Jesus in the Bible is A Nail in A Sure Place and also the Lamb of God. now befor time began the Bible says God chose people to be His. this to is one of Gods mysteries because people also have to choose to come to God freely - ?! this is what the Bible says !!!

Jesus is God - it is clear from John ch 1 v 1 - v 3 in perticular Jesus was the Body part of God but that He was also descended from Adam ( check out mathew ch 1 ) witch meant that He could stand in the stead of another - in this case me

the Bible says Jesus gave His life as a ransome for many - not all

Jesus did not give His life to buy back what adam lost rather to restore those who were predestined befor the world began back to God - not every single person will go to heaven only those for whom Christ died

- He is called the second adam not the last adam this is because the first adam baught death into the world and was the comon ansestor of the human race Jesus baught Life into the world by His death ( romans - He died to forgive our sin and was raised for our justification - that is to be made right with God ) Jesus is the origionator of those who are truly Christians - and what is a christian - if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord ( God apointed savouir - like in the book of Ruth ) then you shall be saved.

Jesus and Adam were never equal - Jesus was and is God , adam was formed from the dust of the earth. God breathed life into Him and formed him in His image, no where in the Bible does it say Jesus and adam were or are equal.

every blessing
