Sometimes I am firm and sometimes I just don't know

Hello,
I have been looking for a Christian site for a while and will hopefully find a home here. The Christian forum sites (not going to name any) that I have looked at are good but they often do have an overarching secular view that I found disturbing at times. And (no offense to any atheist on this site) there have been some well rude comments especially when talking about secular or social issues pointed at Christians on the Christian forums which I though was a red flag.
Anyway after giving you a tidbit of my reasons I want to join a site where I can ask questions and not be slammed for getting my reasons from the bible. I can firmly say I have a stance on certain areas but sometimes the words of the world confuse me. I don't know if I am reading the bible correctly and that worries me. I guess I hope I can find help with understanding certain scriptures and having a firmer belief in what I read.
Just personal wise I am a saltwater reefer so I am in the saltwater aquarium hobby. I am now in Australia studying abroad but my home is Texas. I am a neuroscience major (undergrad) and I love learning about medicine.

Welcome to CF.net Hero90, and thanks for giving us an opportunity of your fellowship. I do hope you will be blessed here with the different forums, and given the chance to confirm your stance on the many different doctrines of the Church. We are in an ever expanding maturity in our spiritual walk as we grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Come right on in, make yourself at home, and hopefully we'll become a mutual blessing to one another in the things that will endure forever.

Welcome Hero. Just curious... What's a "saltwater reefer"?

Oh that means I like to collect coral frags from the ocean and create my own piece of the reef at home. Most of the time the corals are aquacultured instead of taken directly from the reef for conservation reasons but yeah I collect saltwater corals, create different saltwater biotopes and also take care of cool saltwater fish.
