Sometimes we wonder if we reach people with our daily lives. We ask are we making a difference? Lord what can i do for you today....Often we just dont see, 'it' can me the simplist of acts a small kindness...
This was written by my son..... my sister found it in facebook....
I knew a man who fished and hunted to feed the hungry folks of his little town. Loaded firewood on the porches of old people(who were many years younger than himself) Talked folks out of the bars without pointing a finger, but simply stressing how much their families needed them and the bottle wasn't really their friend. Never condemn a soul and never asked for anything, but gave of himself till he passed away. My grandfather, a small town preacher who had people come from states away to his memorial to honor a man who lived in such a manner it changed people. He did the above for whomever, not simply those who attended his church. He never once asked for a dime and never preached condemnation. He preached hope and truly loved his neighbor, regardless of their standing.
