But they treat it like a secret and hide it from the masses. So it is a secret mostly to the believing Brothers & Sisters.

Until recently that is. Satan has obviously ramped up evil activities in the world and God countered with pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh, and to begin teaching the Brotherhood that spiritual realm supernatural powers are available to all believers. Jesus gave us all authority in His name to be able to do almost anything to the enemy. And the gates of hell shall not prevail, like it says.

Thy rod and the staff, they comfort me. A word study shows us that His rod and His staff translate to power and authority.

The Lord does not turn us loose to call down fire upon our enemies at our will though! Every bit of it is the Lord's power doing it. But our authority if we stand up and speak in the authority of the name of Jesus, and it's within God's will, then that Delta Force that is chasing you is in for some problems!

I don't think that we will see any of that though until after the rapture though so we wont be here for the best and worst of that. But the fence sitters who were left behind are going to go, Doh! And then stand up in the authority of the Lord and wreak havoc on the enemy...until the beast from the abyss comes out.
