Now, after the backslapping I gave you on the other thread, you make a statement like that, Imagican! :smt018

You will find none of the SDAs who participate on this forum - not so sure about Jay T ;-) - as being anything other than pretty level-headed individuals. You'll also notice that they - not so sure about Jay T :wink: - never use Ellen White to back up their beliefs.

Just for the record - AND I MEAN THIS SINCERELY - my particular affiliation with the Adventist Church has got NOTHING to do with Ellen G. White. If you or anyone else has issues with SDA doctrines then 1. challenge those particular doctrines as you have every right to, and 2. let us respond to the challenge using only the Bible. Does that sound fair enough? Otherwise, go to your room and take that silly (and uncharacteristic?) remark with you.

First of all, if you are a member of the SDA I apologize that this question offend you. It wasn't meant to offend anyone. I am not affiliated with any denomination. I have studied many, but often I forget which is which. I asked this question as an honest attempt to remember.

My wife drug me to an 'End time prophecy' seminar once. The church showed us a movie of a woman that supposedly saw 'God inspired' visions in her nightmares. I thought that the film indicated that 'she' was the one that formed this denomination. If I am wrong, once again I apologize and certainly did not direct this post to you or anyone else in particular.

I think you have answered this question, so, mods, feel free to lock or delete this topic and it won't hurt my feelings in the least. Thanks guys.

Incidentally, Ellen White evidently DID have visions ...not sure whether they were nightmares, however.
