There is more than one reason people go on fasts. It's good for the mind as well as the body. Not to mention spirit and soul.
Exercise. Doing enough? Choose the one that suits you. At the moment swimming and cycling are best for me. Walking is a real chore at the moment due to chronic plantar fasciitis. I'm rehearsing for my elderly years?
Anyway, I am starting to feel the benefits of exercise. Especially cardio. The heart pumping blood through bodies. Parts of my body saying " finally! But thanks bro."
 
It renergises spiritual energy too. Easier to pray. Something weird about eating take away food and praying. They don't match.
