For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, Romans 1:9.

Whom I serve with my spirit (not the mind) is something the believer should make note of and needs to learn what this means.

After the believer is born again they have a nature to nature relationship with God through the "Christ in you" nature birthed in them.
The believer may not know this or use this nature to nature relationship but it is there nonetheless because of the birthing.
Love, joy, long-suffering, peace, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, truth, as well as many other characteristics can function in the spirit realm of the believer rather than in the mind area only.
It is possible therefore, that love can function in both the soul -mind and the spirit-nature of the born-again believer.
Only can it function in both places in the born-again. Because it is an attribute of God or the Christ nature the believer now has.

This constitutes compatibility between the soul mind and the spirit nature of born-again believers.
Love can also function in the soul-mind of those that are not born again. This is a love that functions according to the methods dictated by the mind it is totally subject to instability to say the least.
Spirit love functions as one of the components of the "fruit of the Spirit" Galatians 5:22, wherein is total stability because itis found in the realm of grace through the Christ in you nature.
There are no changeable qualities within the realm of Grace the more the believer learns about the grace of our Father the more stable the believer will become.

I agree. What we should be doing as born again believers, is to practice allowing our spirit man to take the position of preeminence within us. Let your spirit out! I believe this is what Jesus did on the mount of transfiguration. He merely allowed His Spirit man to come forth to the preeminent position on the outside.

He did this as a man, and we can do this too.

Not a real popular message, there is nothing for the believer to do but yield to the HolySpirit, Romans 6:13,19.
No law to keep, no jumping up and down, no giving and getting back, just simple trust in your Father.
The trust that says "will you love me if I never did anything else for you, other than be your Father."

You need to define your terms so we can know what you are talking about.
the soul-mind?
the spirit-nature?
the spirit realm of the believer?
the Christ nature?
Spirit love?
the realm of grace?
Without understandable definitions, your comments are reduced to babble.
Please clarify.

You almost have to define your terms nowadays because many of the terms are misused through confusion.

Pretty sure if I could walk on water, (Matt. 14:25) I'd just keep walking and wouldn't come back to earth. There are good reasons we don't have "transfiguration" (Matt. 17:2) and "walking on water" experiences because when they are finished, we'd see our current life for the hell on earth it is, by comparisons.

Just a little LOVE from ourselves to others can dramatically change the "reality" around us. This is challenge enough and might seem to serve and be the Divine Purposes, rather than just changing us all into "Light Beings." There is no light as bright as that Brilliant Star shining from the midst of darkness. I believe God must take some pleasures in that contrast. It's much more interesting.

Some might even see that the brighter He shines in us, the darkness also tends to get thickened for the contrast. There is something to these inverse correlations. I might liken it to "stressing grapes" to improve their produce. Or, as the scriptures may show, applying DUNG in the roots for the interests of obtaining fruit. Luke 13:8
