Spirit of Truth?

B

Bilal

Guest
In John 16: 12 & 13, Jesus says:

“I have yet many things to say unto you,

but you cannot bear them now.

Howbeit when he, the spirit of truth, is come,

He will guide you into all truth
; â€Â

So...who is the 'Spirirt of Truth'?

Muhammad?

I don't believe the "Spirit" of truth is a man. Jesus didn't even lay claim to being the Spirit of truth himself.

Wow, how d'yu guess? :multi:

I have seen the claim before. :)

I am fairly certain that Muhammad was no more predicted in the gospel of John than that Jesus was predicted in the Old Testament. Pure fantasy in my opinion.

The Holy Spirt, the Bible clearly states this many times, the sad reality is that many people will take one scripture like the one above and try to make it fit with "their" belief system. However this is so dangerous and perverts the word of truth. You see to get an understanding of some scriptures you need to read the Bible a few times over or at least that "book" to which the scripture is contained.

Hello all,

The Spirit of Truth is the Spirit of God.

This is examined in the paper: Truth
