Spiritual Encounters

I remember going to bed one night pretty late. I was laying in bed, looking at the celing, and then tried to sleep. When I closed my eyes, I could not open them. My arms were tremoring. I thought, "This nust be a terrible nightmare. I am going to sit up." I tried, but it was like I was glued to my bed. I had absolutely bo control. I then blacked out. I woke up again on my side curled up, on the edge of the side of my bed, and looked towards my door. I was too weak to move and tried to shout, "Help!" But my air was escaping my lungs and I could not breathe any oxygen in. Therefore, I never had the air to yell for help. I was thinking of all my loved ones in a flash and thought, "This is it. I'm dying. Please dear Lord, be with me!" I was completely alone in the middle of the night, everyone else was home, but no help because they were asleep.

To me, this felt supernatural because I could think perfectly clearly and my heart began to beat again on its' own. I woke up and my pillow was far above me, tucked down between the mattress and frame. My blanket was tightly tucked far below me, stuck between the mattress and frame. I was laying on my pillow and had my blanket on my body before having a seizure, I couldn't have moved them far. To get the pillow and blanket unstuck was extremely difficult like they were almost underneath the mattress.

I feel like God was definitely looking down on me and saying, "Not yet!" God was with me in the silent of the night when no one else knew what was going on in my bedroom, but it was so scary.

--------------------------------------------

If you want weird spirit supernatural, I have plenty of those.

I remember sitting in what was me and my husband's room at that time. We also had 2 cats that were on the opposite side of the room from us. I was sitting down on the bed and we had like this cat condo thing and it had a stick coming out one side to support a danging toy ball with a jingle bell on it in front of a window.

Well, I felt a rush of wind go by me and this ball on ths string was going in fast circles lile something I couldn't be rushed by me. It was creepy. The AC was not on, cats were staring across the room like they had seen something, no fans on, and no windows open.

I had a similar thing happen at a sleepover as a child. Everyone was sitting in a circle and I felt this rush of something move by me. I was in a baggy gown that was a more stiff material and the movement made this dent in my gown that stuck out in front of me and I saw this happen as the rush of whatever it was went by. I was saying, "Guys! Did you just feel that wind go by? Look at this dent it left on my gown!" They looked at me like I was nuts, but I know what I felt.

I thank the Lord you are here!

Thank you, Sister. I remember another one from Colorado. It was pretty big to me. I had let my two sons move in with me (they had lived together in their own place). They had got booted out of their place (they were on drugs and not paying their rent). So I got the bright idea to let them stay with me and pitch in. Bad idea. I like living alone. So they both moved in. One Saturday, I got up and came out and they were arguing about something stupid, and suddenly they were fighting...tearing up my house and causing damage. I yelled at them to stop it, and the younger one turned his anger on me.

He was out of control. He started causing more damage as some kind of...aha you can't tell me what to do. I threatened to call the police on him if he didn't stop, and that just made him madder and more violent. So I called the cops on him, right in front of him. Then said, they're on their way. He said ha you can't get me arrested, I will get you arrested...a couple cops showed up and one came in to talk to me and the other one asked them to step outside to talk to him. Well they both lied on me and it was two against one, so the cops believed them. Eventually we were all outside talking and I got angry because they were lying and saying I started it all, that I tore up my own house...the cops don't like angry people and said if they have to come back today that I am getting arrested not them...

Then they left. After they left, my younger son was emboldened by what happened and immediately started threatening me...So I punched him. Just one of those things. So he whips out his cell phone and calls the police on me. I didn't want to be arrested so I just took off out the door and started walking. I wasn't going to be there when they came back, lol.

But my back was hurt. I couldn't walk far. So I stayed in the neighborhood a few blocks away but close. I sat down to rest, and began praying. Then a voice within me (the Lord) said get up and walk now. Turn right up the next street...So I did. For the next 30 or 40 minutes this continued. Sometimes He said sit here and rest. He'd tell me when to go, which turns to make, when to wait and rest. I knew I was being instructed and helped by the Lord so kept listening and praying. I would see the police cars prowling the neighborhood looking for me. Always a couple blocks away going another direction, lol!
Finally the Lord said, you can go home now. So I thanked Him and asked for the Spirit of peace to descend upon my house...and when I got home, the kids were calm and congenial. Even apologetic.

I was never more than maybe 4 blocks away from home, and they couldn't find me to arrest me. Shortly thereafter I was reading scripture, Psalm 91 I think, about hiding in the shadow of the Lord. I realized that, that is what He did for me.

The kids didn't believe me, that I stayed close to home. They told me the cops had 3 cars searching for me...

This was a huge thing for me and I still thank the Lord and praise Him for it!

I am sorry to hear that there is such strife and conflict with your sons. I hope things are better now. Glad that they did not have an innocent person arrested. I have unfortunately seen these situations unfold..not pretty.

Yeah, just one of those things. We get along a lot better now (that they don't live with me, lol). Maybe the Lord told me to move to Ohio...because He wanted to do a work with my sons? I sure do pray for them so it could be. I sure did plant a lot of seeds into my older sons heart & mind. I have a testimony about that too!

Me and my older son worked together and we had to install a water heater that day. We were loaded up and on our way to the job. My son was driving and he missed the turn and went one more block...and there was a cop. We had a cracked windshield too, and that's what he saw. He fell in behind us and my son said, I'm going to jail, I didn't pay the fines on some traffic tickets. I said oh no you're not going to jail, and immediately went into prayer. He gave the cop his license & paperwork and he went back to his car. My son tried to explain that he got a letter telling him a warrant was issued for him because he didn't pay his fines. I said it's too late, I already prayed and you're not going to jail. I need your help today, we're almost to the job! Something inside me just clicked and I decided i am standing on the Lord's promises and in faith I refuse to let him be arrested and lose this job!

So the cop comes back up to the truck and the first thing he said was so Deen, I see you have a warrant for not paying some fines...and he looks at me and nods as if to say see ya I'm being arrested. Then he started emptying his pockets...then the cop says, I can see that you guys are on your way to work, and I respect that so I'm going to let you go with a warning if you promise to take care of them fines...and you should get that cracked windshield fixed...

So he let us go. The Lord touched his heart to let Deen go because I trusted the Lord in faith. After the cop went back to his car and we were free to go, I said, I told you so, I prayed for you! Praise the Lord! And he said, Praise the Lord, there really is something to this God stuff, isn't there?!

So prior seeds grew just a wee bit that day in my son. Praise the Lord! He is so good! He watered it, I only asked in faith. (I can't walk new/old water heaters up and down steps anymore by myself, I needed him)

God always has interesting and mysterious ways.

I remember one time my husband and I were out on a late night drive. There was no one on the road, it was past midnight. I saw something furry on the side of the road so my husband turned around. It was a little dog wandering onto the highway. I got out and called it, it came to me. Looking at the dog, it seemed like it may not have had good eyesight. It jumped up and sat in my lap, and the dog understood commands like "sit".

We could not have more animals at our apartment since the dog needed a deposit and we had cats so my husband said, "What are we supposed to do with the dog? We can't bring it home." I said, "We should be able to take them to the police department since the shelter is closed." We turned around the block and an officer started following us closely. I mean, it was no wonder they chose us being the only car out there.

They turned their lights on and he said iour tow hitch was covering our license plate.

It was a bit awkward, but the officer told us what the issue was and my husband said, "We were actually on our way to you guys," as he was getting his license and registration out. The officer asked, "May I ask what for?" We said, "We found this dog wandering around on the highway, and didn't know where to take them so late at night."

The officer sighed, checked our stuff, let us off with a warning, and then put his gloves on to grab the dog and said, "I will make a report for animal control."

That officer was probably not expecting another report to file, but he had something to do while no cars were on the road lol. We saw him driving away and hid brake lights coming on every few seconds. Maybe the dog wasn't behaving for him. Either way, we hope the dog made it home and became someone's answered prayer.

This isn't really Godly it a little more on the demonic side of things. But anyway I was twelve and I had what you call sleep paralysis. Except It wasn't full on sleep paralysis It was like 50% of it. Anyway here is the story. I woke up (obviously) and I could barely move. Like I could move but it hurt to move. And I used to go to the gym but this was before that so I wasn't sore from anything. Anyway at the corner of my room was a shadow that was casted by this sailboat thing on my desk (This is like 6:50 7:00 am in the winter so the sun is coming up.) But when I was looking at the this shadow It was almost like it was darker than a normal shadow and I just felt uneasy looking at it. Like something was there. And I heard myself talking like in my head and I just heard myself repeating the words "I'm not scared of you" over and over. Later I ended up moving on my side and like gained backed my motion. I opened my mouth and the feeling is indescribable. Like you know when you have dry lips and they stick together a little bit? Yeah well it was like that but times a 100. I fell asleep a few seconds after and woke with a bunch of fear and anxiety. So yeah, that's my story.

Sleep paralysis is one of those mysteries...demonic or not? Science says sleep paralysis is waking up between sleep cycles, but is it really? So many different virws, but I agree that it is terrifying!

Edward I want to Thank You for your Testimony of God’s helping hand in your life when you needed help in a desperate way. It’s great that we have a Loving God who will never leave us or forsake us in anyway, as long we love trust and obey His words, in our daily walk with Him. Amen
God Bless
