Some people say we will be disembodied spirits in a spiratual realm. I think we will be physical and spiritual beings on the new earth. I believe that new Earth will be like the old earth without the curse and a million times better. I think there will still will be trees, water, animals, food, and physical things. my papa doesn't be believe this though. He believes that it will be just a spiritual place. not physical. Could yall give me some scriptures indacating that life on the new earth will be physical. I know nobody knows for sure wether it will be spiritual or physical and spiritual. But could you please give me some scipture that would hint towards physical bodies living on a physical earth. any help would be great. Thanks.

There are countless dimensions in the galaxy and countless ways for Sons of God to enjoy the fruits of God Creation.

There will be both a Spiritual and physical way to exist.

Paul talks of the Resurrection/Ascention in a physical sense.

He also says that "flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God" which shows the Spiritual sense.

Read up on Near Death Experiences too if you want some fantastic stories!

Hi heavenbound23 (and others):

I lean to the position that heaven will be a very physical place - I think it will be "this world as it was meant to be". The only scripture that came to my mind was from Romans 8, and you already quoted it.

On a related note: I am coming to believe that there really is no distinction between the spiritual and the physical - there is some kind of underlying unity.

John 20:19 That evening, on the first day of the week, the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! "Peace be with you," he said. 20 As he spoke, he held out his hands for them to see, and he showed them his side.
Jesus appeared to them in the midst behind locked doors like the "wind blows and we dont know where it is coming from or where it is going"(born again) yet He was able to show His scars.

1 John 3:2 Yes, dear friends, we are already God's children, and we can't even imagine what we will be like when Christ returns. But we do know that when he comes we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.
So just like Jesus was after His resurrection so shall we be.
