At least that's what good old Buckeye Chuck says!! :woot So what does your state groundhog say? Are you in for an early spring as well? :biggrin

Also since I'm really crossing my fingers that Chuck is right :crossed I just had to post this wonderful song from a really cute and underrated Disney sequel. :) (Btw, for the record Buckeye Chuck predicted early spring last year as well since I looked it up. I forgot whether or not he was actually right though. :lol)

Groundhog saw his shadow here in TN today.

It's actually a pleasant day...65° and sunshine....light breeze too.

Maryland has had another mild winter.
I do a pretty extensive vegetable garden and many mornings there has been that moist, thawing soil smell I used to get in early March.
I don’t know the science for or against climate change but it has been getting very consistently warmer here over the last dozen years or so. We get rain instead of snow usually.
Rain storms are more intense.
We have a little farm and there are visually evident differences from forty years ago when we first moved in.
Rain washing out gullies in woods and grassy pasture land that has not been changed by any building or landscaping. Stream beds getting dramatically changed. Some of this looks like things are very different from anything over at least a hundred years.

Usually we get a huge cold front from the polar region here in America every winter. It camps out for a while and we get all kinds of snow and ice from it.
This year we didn't. So it's been a mild winter.

Everyone talks about the weather but only God is doing something about it.

If I remember correctly, your groundhog is Chattanooga Chuck right? Anyways, hopefully he's wrong, otherwise unfortunately you're stuck with six more weeks of winter.

Oh yeah and I believe that God created Mother Nature and Mother Nature decides whether or not the weather is going to be good or bad.
