My favorite team. Always has been, always will be. :)

Here is my autographed replica jersey from the 1941 season. Stan Musial is one of the best players ever to play. 4th all time in hits and 475 HR to boot! :D

I live just across the river from St. Louis (Alhambra, IL) and can't wait to see what the Cards do this year. I have a feeling pitching is going to either make or break us. I guess we'll find out soon enough. :D

They have a few players who are considered to be an "ace" of the pitching staff.

Matt Morris is right there, as is Mark Mulder. They are the "M&M Pair" lol. :D

They have a great closer in Izzie and good depth in the 'pen.

I feel confident in their abilities. :)

Cards are 3-3 and continue this series with the Reds.

St. Louis is now 6-4 and on a roll.

They took all three in Milwaulkee and seem to be getting started with a good streak of wins.

Pujols and Rolen are both getting hot and they could carry this team a long way.

Cards are now 8-4 after taking all five games on this road trip to Mil. and Pit.

Next up is:

vsCHC
6:10p

The HATED Cubs.

1908!!!

1908!!!

1908!!!

Thanks for the Cards updates. I grew up in St. Louis, and worked at Busch Stadium while I was in high school. My late husband and I went to see the Cards and the Blues play regularly...In Colorado now, but the Cards will always be my favorite team. I'm a Mike Matheny fan...sorry that SF has him now.

I grew up and lived in St. Louis for 26 years. Actually, I lived in Hazelwood, one street away from Florissant in north county.

I always have gone to Cards games, but I only got into hockey in about 1994 or so. I then got really hard core into the Blues and recorded many of their games if I couldn't get to watch them.

I went to games left and right. I only got to see one game in the old Barn (now torn down and an office building :sad).

I think Colorado is my favorite state. I have been there about 5-7 times, the last being in 2001 when I went to Denver to watch the NHL All-Star game. 8-)

Are you an Av's fan at all? I love them. :)

I hope the Cards can hang on, they are in the 8th inning clinging to a 1 run lead against the Colt 45's, er Astros.

We were stationed at Scott AFB and lived in Shiloh, IL. My son got to sing the national anthem last year at the Card's game. That was wayyyy cool! :D

GO CARDS!!!

HEY!!!

My brother works at Scott AFB!!! ULTRA COOL!

I grew up in South City...lived there all my life up until about three years ago. My husband bought a farm, stocked us up on chickens, sheep, goats, rabbits, etc. About an hour and a half away from the city...out hwy 44 towards Union. After he died...I waited a year, sold off most of the animals...and moved to my favorite state. Just at the foot of the Rockies.

I have only been here a few months...I will always love the Blues, and the Arena :sad , Colorado Avalance has no chance with me...I bleed blue!

No Imos pizza here, though. :sad

I hope you're right about Mike...he seemed to love St. Louis...maybe he will go back.

Darn you Jake!!!

You got us by 3.5 games. The season is early my friend!

Again, let me know, maybe we can meet up at a game.

GO CUBBIES!!
