This weekend, I was passing by Altus Ark, near the Ozark National Forest, and looking for a restaurant, I found this little Catholic church at the top of a ridge.
Talking to three people who were descendants of the people who built the church about 1878, I learned that the parish had recently completely restored the building. They did a magnificent job. Driving up to the top of the ridge, I thought the stone was new.
