But it's not COVID-19. COVID-19 killed over a million Americans. Monkeypox is very unlikely to do that, even if it gets out of control here. And we have a pandemic response team up and running now, (Trump shut his down, just before he needed it).

That guy jumping around and screaming hysterically seems to have lost any contact with reality on this.

Truth is, the proliferation of viruses based on international travel and weather changes was predicted over a generation ago, long before it there were any conspiracy theories about it, like that guy in the video.
 
Monkey pox is generally not fatal, is not easy to transmit, and it turns out that a smallpox vaccination confers pretty good immunity. Since some of us have had smallpox vaccine, might still help.

Not to mention we Lready have treatments available for both small pox and monkey pox. Covid 19 caught us with nothing ready.
