Rick Scott has decared a state of emergency. I'm not sure if I will have fun or not.I think it's a big overreaction

Prayers for your state, jasonc. It's better to be prepared than not, and since that storm looks to hit your state, the declaration might save some lives.

That's always possible, too, my friend. My area gets 40 mph winds from time to time...nothing out of the ordinary, actually. We even get 75 or 80 mph winds during thunderstorms, without experiencing tornadoes.

I know but what irks me is that in 07 a far worse storm hit. nothing. ts fay. stayed a week over my state.

Then it's a head scratcher as to why a state of emergency was called. Unless.............. it was to tap into federal funds should some beaches get wet.............?

it might not even be much of a storm. say 40 mph when it hits Miami.

I have no authority to pray over your state, but you do have a right to have your property and things protected. Not sure why the emergency, but He might be going with his gut feeling. If leaders are appointed by God, then there might be a anointing to know something the forecasters do not know.

Tropical storm.

Looks like just lots of rain now in Flordia, but a link to that Weather said my area is in flood alert

We have a Church in Sarasota. Brother Keith was in Branson today though. Not sure how Branson has a flood warning with only 20% chance of rain. Does not look like Florida is in that bad of shape either.
oh its been raining since 8. it hasn't stopped the storm will bring more. im not overly worried but Miami, will flood

Very strange. Texas flooded big time. We have been getting that constant Warm water thing sweeping across the southern states. El Nino or whatever you call it. Been raining here a little bit every day.
Should help any water shortages. I have been to Miami several times, and, well, to bad I suppose.

Mike.

I understand another weather development has been formed somewhere offshore.
For the life of me I cannot remember it's name, however it appears that the U.S. Have some harsh weather.
Did Erika do much damage? We don't hear too much about it over here in the UK.
