Found something I thought was cool, so I thought I would post it.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal (John 10:10)
A word stealer is shown here
Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. (Jer 23:30)
Reminds me of this...
And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. (Mark 4:15)
So Satan cometh and taketh away the word sown in the hearts there, but so also is the LORD against the prophets that steal His words from their neighbors. So the thief can be shown stealing words, and the His words are in righteousness there is nothing froward or perverse in them
The same prophets (even falsely so) seem to work according to the working of Satan who cometh to take away the word sown in their hearts (who have heard)
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
So again
Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. (Jer 23:30)
Would it be going to far to consider
That its no great thing if his ministers also steal his words every one from his neighbour?
Sorta like Father...

Like sons....
Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. (Jer 23:30)
Thus, its no great thing if his ministers also steal his words every one from his neighbour. (my own words)
Being a liar and the "father of" it, or ye are of your father the devil in that sense
He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.(John 8:47)
Even as speaks of the thief coming to steal and we see the word stealers. Jesus says the thief come to kill likewise, even as Jesus said but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
Whereas again Jesus said to them
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:7)
Even as John said,
Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. (1John 2:24)
Just as Jesus also said, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed
Abiding in Jesus is twofold. Jesus abide in me and my words in you. Even as being ashamed of Him is being ashamed of either me or my words.
Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. (James 1:18)
The word of God abiding in us and overcoming the wicked one
I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. (1John 2:14)
Whereas the devil abideth not in the truth. I was looking at this same thing (even in Jeremiah) the same place and catching it in the picture of the serpents words to the woman. I have to find that one.
Just thought that was cool, so I posted it.
