A stickey is a marker a Mod or Admin puts on a topic so that it stays at the top of a Forum for a time we determine.

Sort of the same I guess. Personally, I try to put stickeys on topics other than announcments. Threads like Weekly and daily devotionals could be stickeys, so they don't get 'buried'.

Would it be possiple if we'd be able to allow our post to stay at the top for a certain amount of time. I mean like for somewhere up to just a few days. It's really your choice. That'd be nice if you did that.

I don't know if that can be done automatically, but we can look into it. In the meantime, use your imagination. There IS a way to do it, sort of, but I'm not saying for fear that everyone will want to do it. 8-)

I know for a fact that there IS a way to do it. In fact there are multiple ways to do it. But I would say that the easiest way is to just edit the code for the forums and give members the ability to do that, although I know that it's not that easy.
