Our local news station has put a big semi-truck out in the parking lot of the local supermarket, and they are working with the "Feed The Children" organization, and are asking people to drive up to the truck,
and leave some non-perishable donations for the flood/hurricane victims.
Please take a can of food, or a bottle of water, some non-perishable item,
to whatever trustworthy organization is doing a drive like this, in YOUR area.
PLEASE HELP!
If EVERYONE would drop off ONE non-perishable item, it would really
help out the people who have NOTHING now. A can of soup, a bottle of water, kool aid, canned meats, chips, pretzels, juice, canned vegetables,
vacuum-packed foods like tuna, or a jar of baby food, a box of cookies,
a loaf of bread, WHATEVER IS NON-PERISHABLE, AND EDIBLE. None of these items cost much, and I believe each of you has a compassionate heart, so, please find a way to give just one item.
Water, and ready-to-eat food items.
JUST ONE ITEM!.
