My sister did this field thingy while she was in basic, she lost a part of her left heel~ cause she marched on a giant blister that formed on her foot. She was afraid to pop it thou the medics had warned them all to do so.

Hey, finally got the boat started last night around 8:45 pm :D (Long story, but boy has this "boat" been a pain in the rear). My wife isn't very confident about going all the way up north in the boat... gee, I can't see why :oops:

Sorry we missed ya. It's been soooo busy and we only got the boat out once so far, and it rained so hard we spent more time idling at the dock (cause I forgot to put the plug in ooops :oops: ) than we spent out on the Lake.

I'm wondering if I'll still have a full tank of gas in the boat by the end of the season :lol:
 
What size/kind of boat is it?

The weekends i'll most likely have off are the 9th & 10th, 16th & 17th and the 23rd & the 24th.
 
It's an older (1980's somthing) 20'-4" FourWinds cuddy cabin. As far as the dates you posted, I'm going to Iowa with several other members of our Church to help with flood relief the week of Aug 10th returning the following weekend. After that, I know we have a Steak and Corn roast thingy that my wife volenteered us for which leave the later part of Aug a possibility.

This isn't our boat, but it looks just like it. (my wife and I gutted the entire interior and started from scratch)

so if we managed to pull it off, it would be on the weekend of the 16/17th then, cool.

LOL on the vessel :-D Man, that's my $1,000 dollar "deal" that sat uncovered for several years in my backyard as a "favor" for my athiest friend (He's a great friend, really) :lol: He says, "All it needs is a head gasket and here, I already bought it for you."... yeah right... I've rebuilt the entire engine (bored, new pistons, crank welded and reground, reconditioned connecting rods etc... new valve job, starter ...) and outdrive :-? Week before last I dumped another Benjamin on gas line etc... :x They don't call them a money pit for nothing :oops: Oh well, it's all new now... Suppose we'll keep it.

Sorry for not being clear on the dates, I got confused :-? . We have VBS starting this Sunday (Aug 2nd) and lasting all week next week. Then, after service on Sunday the 10th, were leaving to Iowa and returning Saturday evening the 16th which brings us to Sunday... Shucks, I just checked (http://www.churchofchristcarecenter.org) and Saturday the 23rd is the weekend my wife signed us up to be waiters at thier annual Steak and Corn Roast fund raiser. (Love the meal and the entertainment is great :D )

I'd love to come up, but I don't see it happening in August. :cry: Man, I just got to thinking, why do I have a boat?... :o
 
O well, I'll be there many more times in the future. Have a nice summer :D
