I happened to glance out the kitchen window, to see the most striking colors as a large thunderstorm moved in. I actually had to tone it down a bit; the patio had an intense reddish-orange color.

We get Monsoons here and you can always tell when its coming because the sky gets orange. I love it.

LOL! We get Tornadoes here and we can always tell they are over us when the sky clouds and everything turns green. Before I gave my life to Jesus it used to scare the living snot out of me, especially after I barred the shop door one day with a six inch I Beam that flew past me and my Turret Lathe before I was fifteen feet away from the door. It ripped the one inch Pivot Bolt out of the steel door jam, straightened the half inch Stainless Retention Bracket and must have snapped the half inch Cable last because one man said it was spinning like the Main Rotor on one of my Choppers as it flew over me.

I eventually got over the fright though. Now I wish I could still get out to the prouch and enjoy the show and what a show they put on.

I've become completely addicted to old M42 Pentax primes. The color, the sharpness, and the bokeh are just wonderful. I'm about to find a nice 300mm f4.0, to round out the collection. My absolute favorite is a 1.8 85mm, which is the lens I used for this shot.
