Forum: Notice what Christ bellow [documented] to the devil (+ his desiree's) when He was tempted by him. And also take note what satans approach has been since that time on by his evil agents! They are [one thus sayeth the Word men verse] & do so to [tempt] you also! They constantly ask you well then, what about this [one verse]?? And here they come with satans way of voiding out the rule that Christ has ETERNALLY [COMMANDED TO BE FOLLOWED! ]
Matt.4
[1] Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
[2] And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
[3] And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
[4] But he answered and said, [It is written,] Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

And if one can think right, the only Word of God that was seen them was what most call the Old Bible. It was written? Surely! You go find it & it's whole context!

satan follows on TEMPTING Christ. In verse 6 we find again, how these agents of satan are trained by him.
We read 'the one verse' method again of almost an exact quoted promise from the Lords Word, quoted to The Word Christ Himself! And these ones claim the one verse all through their Rev. 17:5 history [without the complete 'Every Work' of the CONDITION to the promise! Like the above Word of Christ Himself! And what is New??? Eccl. 3:15 Nothing New God States.

In Isa. 8 We see that these above ones are 'light/less'! For they can quickly be spotted to [OPENLY] transgress both the Eternal Covenant + the 'WHOLE of the Inspired Testimony of Christ' Word!

[20] To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

I pray that all can quickly spot a RED/FLAG of caution when reading several on this board with the one/verse questions to anyone! That is not the way to know Truth as Christ has told us at the very start of His Matt. recorded life here on earth!

I am sorry, please forgive me but I am having trouble understanding this. Would you mind seeing if you could clear this up for me? I really would like to understand.

elijah this is a good point.

I many times have been in conversations about the word where I am showing a multitude of scriptures to show forth what is being said and someone wants to bring up one verse and try to undo all of the many scriptures given by that one verse. When you try to show by more scriptures that the one verse they are using does not mean what they say it means they cannot get past it or see it, i do think that is a way the enemy tries to decieve us and tempt us to see the word they way they want us to.

Hi, Elijah here:
Many times they even go to the four of what is called Gospels & post the same content of singular Words. Yet, without the Full Command of Christ against satan as is seen in Matt. 4:4-10

Why can't it just be the Holy Ghost bringing to light the appropriate scriptures for each given discussion or situation. I have been accused of not keeping context myself. I don't post so much scripture recently because I feel no one gets it anyway. But when I do post it I try to post many surrounding verses and I highlight my point. That way no one will ever bring up the weak context argument again. It has completely ended that scenario for me.

Hi, good for you. I do not have such luck. I say luke because of the other person's posting on such doctrine as hell. One swears up & down (spiritually!) that the maggot worm in hell also has immortality right along beside the sinner. :screwloose

Some people swear up and down that since no worm is known that could survive in such conditions for eternity that God didn't create one, or that He couldn't create one because of the impossibility of it surviving. Like God just couldn't do it. :screwloose

It is not that God could NOT DO IT, It is that ONLY GOD HAS IMMORTALITY! 1 Tim. 6:14-16 + 1 Tim. 1:17 :wave

I don't see it like that. IMO since God exists in eternity and their are others there. He created them as well and I am sure many of them, if not all of them will never taste death. Mankind was created without death and we brought it in through transgression. Even after that the pre-flood conditions were such that men lived am astounding number of years and dinosaurs, so called, walked the earth.

I'm sure that the likes of eternal beings would astound your eyes should you ever happen to see one. And you will, we all will. God has hidden many a mystery from us. And whatever body God chooses to robe you in for eternity will be immortal.

Then why will we need to eat of the tree of Life then?? Rev. 22:1-2 & why was it removed from Adam? see Gen. 3:22

Well then, how about satan calling God a liar in Gen. 3? God said you will die & satan said to Eve, ye shall not surely die! And even now the Rev. 17:5 ones most all Teach that God lied & that satan told the truth! :screwloose

PS: + even maggots are immortal :crying

Well Elijah it has always been part of Satan's plan that if he couldn't get direct worship he'd accept "sloppy seconds" by taking indirect worship. Had to corupt the word of God anyway he could. Now that he has people sucked in to their denominational dogma and locked into their false doctrines the false sabbath is a whisker away.

The prophecy is a fact in Rev. 17:1-5 even in the compilers caps, and we see in Gen. 6:3 the Earth's ARK DOOR OF PROBATION [CLOSED] after the Striving of the Holy Ghost + Noah's Preaching for 120 years. And seeing all of this in our day as hindsight, it is not hard to spot the ABOMINATION OF THE EARTH ONES with their LONG PAST ANY ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY YEARS OF GARBAGE WITH [NO] CHANGE SEEN IN THEIR FALSE DOCTRINE as being past/tense.

And the WARNING of Rev, 18:4 finds but few at best who go into the Ark. And one reads the 'daily' reason why.:crying

--Elijah

There are just TWO GROUPS SAVED AT THE END seen. Most are teaching the EXACT SAME as they did at the start of the reformation, they are going over the EXACT SAME ground as they did then & after 120 years of STRIVING OF THE HOLY GHOST for TOTAL [[[REFORMATION]]]. And for the last 150 + years it has been growing WORSE & WORSE. Ask any older person what their church looked like in comparison to today? And you 'ain't' seen noth'in yet! :crying

And when you do not BELIVE Ecc. 1:9-10 + Eccl. 3:15 even when extra documentation is seen TWICE! (Gen. 41:32) What hope is there for you??

OK: As blind as you seem to appear, Eze. 9 gives ONLY TWO CLASS in the Ending. And many postings are found with the ones who will be SLAUGHTERED! The promise of only belivism is the promise of the devil, not God! The ones who ARE SEALED are not you'ins who might of started out with the 'ernest' of the Holy Spirit but missed the fullness of the SEALING.

You all are way to passive & John 12:42-43 'SELF' caring, to be put outside with Christ's FOLD of 'SIGHING AND CRYING FOR ALL THE ABOMINATIONS DONE IN THE MIDST THEREOF' ones.

--Elijah

PS: And the you'ins seen here? Are the past/tense PROTESTANTS!
