Sorry if this is a weird post but I just wants to say thank you to the people that I did not know a couple of months ago but now I'm starting to feel are my friends.

I have participated in a few posts that have had many responses. I have looked at a few posts without responses. I have not participated and sat back.

Sorry you were part of the list. I was looking at the people I had communicated over the last couple of posts to list and you were on it.
 
Why I'm pleased as punch.
I'm here for the same thing as you.
Occasionally knock around a few thoughts to get my own notions as to what the Gospel message is but more importantly to make friends.

I like a lot of the people on this forum.
I've met at least one other on another.

Of one forum I was a member of I got into a challenge of sorts where I went and met in person the other members. I didn't meet the most but I was in the hunt.

My wife is a special person I met on the internet on Christian Forums.

I don't have a disconnect between what I post and who I am in person... Except maybe I type slow on this phone.

It's a odd thing sometimes when you meet others from forums. Some are nothing like what you would think and others are more.

Soon...I get some restrictions lifted off of me...and there's no telling where I can go and do.

And that guy ringing your doorbell might just be me.

(Scary thoughts eh.)

Did they? I know they bickered, but can't recall any playing or joking.
I think Jesus did though! When he was on the road to Emmaus with the Disciples he showed a sense of humor to them, is how it reads to me anyway.

Luke 24:13-35
13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

19 And he said unto them, What things?.../

That Jesus had been crucified just a few days before had to be a big big thing. Front page news, so to speak...and Jesus is so nonchalant about it! "What things?"
(As if He didn't know).

I find that very humorous and think it's an indication that our Lord has a healthy sense of humor. :lol

I'm probably on more blacklists that whitelists. Even Facebook didn't want me as a friend.:biggrin2
 
Wrg, you have been such a blessing to me and I love following your post. I see in you an eagerness to grow in faith and to share your faith with others. We are a diverse group and what binds us together is not what we teach others, but the genuine love of Christ in our hearts. God bless you my friend and so blessed to know you. :hug

I started years ago coming into various forums to share and to also learn from others. This is the best one I have ever been in thanks to the moderators keeping on top of things. I like to be challenged by the various topics as it makes me dig even deeper into scripture for those things I have yet not learned. This is what forums should be as we lift up and edify the body of Christ without trying to outsmart one another as everyone are on different levels of learning and none of us will ever exhaust the word of God.
