For everything good and righteous in my life!
I was viewing the topics of this board and noticed that there's next to no Praises!
This is the Prayer Request and Praises board!
Come on, people! Let us know the good that God has done in your life! Small or large!
Here, I'll start:
I was having great insecurities a week ago on if God was really with me and if He heard my prayers. I have a part-time job at a resturant and before I went into work one day, I said a prayer asking for God to show me a sign that He was indeed here with me by my side. While on a break, I went to the restroom to 'powder my nose' and the second I walked into the stall, I saw a piece of paper. I ignored it at first but something kept telling me to read it.
Here's what it said:
Like your eternal salvation, that was bought and paid for by Jesus going to the cross. If you would like to accept the most valuable thing in this life, pray this prayer, believing & receiving what you pray.
John 3:16
Jesus, I know I am a sinner and without accepting you, I would spend eternity in hell. I believe that you're God's only son and my only way to Heaven. I believe that you died for my sins and rose from the dead so that I could live eternally. I accept your free gift of salvation, and I ask you to forgive my sins. Through Jesus I am righteous before God the Father. I now ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and accept His daily help in living for my Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Little signs like that simple piece of paper in a public restroom to answer my prayer still gives me goose bumps when I think about how powerful God truly is.
We ask for His help constantly but we're not praising Him nearly enough for all the amazing things He does for each and every one of us!
