Thanks for the memories, James Garner (1928 - 2014)

Whether you loved him in "Maverick," "The Rockford Files," or "Murphy's Romance," James Garner was a remarkable actor. His eyes were amazing and bespoke a twinkle of the joy he found in life.

I have lots of lovely memories of him, and will miss seeing him. Thankfully, there are DVDs of his movies, including "Support Your Local Sheriff."

Rest in peace, Jimbo, and know that you brought laughter into the lives of many of us. Thanks for the memories :wave2

I read his autobiography a few years ago, and I want to say that he was. But I cannot state without question about it.

He was married to the same woman since 1956, which is rather remarkable for a Hollywood marriage.

Yes,that is impressive for Hollywood.

I didn't know he had died. I liked him very much.
Maverick is one of my favorites the series and the movie with Mel Gibson.
