That one verse.....

When i feel like thing are all messed up then I read this verse it helps me out.I guess this is my favorite verse.


1 JOHN 4:4 Ye are of God,little children,and have overcome them:because greater is he that is in you,than he that is in the world.

I love that Verse! That has always been a huge favorite of mine. I've taught the chapter of 1 Timothy on numerous occassions, because of what it says in Verse 4:11 and verse 4:13.

A few of my personal favorites are James 1:2, Colossians 3:17, Proverbs 3:5-6, and 2 Timothy 2:15.
 
Colossian 3:17 is awesome as well...I even made sig for it a few weeks ago hehe
 
Well, some of my favorite verses are found in Isiah 55. Anything in that chapter is very comforting to me. But in my limited memorizing capabilities, I don't know a great deal of verses by heart, something I'm working hard to correct. However, one verse that I hold fast to is a verse found in Corinthians, (Corinthians 9:27)"I punish my body and make it my slave, that I might not be disqualified for the prize...."

I like Isaiah 53 (New Living Translation is really good).
Especially this verse.

He was despised and rejected--a man of sorrows, acquainted with bitterest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way when he went by. He was despised, and we did not care.

I have heaps of favourite verses, but i think my most favourite one is 1 Timothy 4:12 "Dont let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the beleivers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." And also i LOVE Romans 8:38-39
