The Afterlife

The Jews know the Old Testament which details these things quite clearly.

Christ wasn't discussing the Millennial Kingdom in Mt. 10:34, you took Him out of context.

Christians will be persecuted by the Antichrist Beast almost into extinction, they don't rule until God's Kingdom comes:

7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.
8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear.
10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. (Rev. 13:7-10 NKJ)

Amillennialism? Is that what you believe? Sum it up for us.

I already have. The 7 headed beast spans centuries and represents satans power, which all of the faithful throughout history have defeated.
The so called "millennial" Kingdom is where Christ rules with believers over this world, which is what happens as we do his will. You need to begin seeing scripture this way,

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Lk.10:19

We're spokesmen, Ambassadors for the King now. There is no higher position on earth now.

Jesus and His Holy Army will descend upon Armageddon and slay the Beast's Armies gathered there. Then both the Beast and False Prophet are tossed Body and Soul into the Lake of Fire to be tormented for ever and ever.

The Carrion Birds of the sky will feast on the corpses of the slain men and fallen angels slaughtered there (Mt. 24:40-42; Lk. 17:34-37; Rev. 19:13-21)
I understand what you're saying. I was taught and believed what you're saying for many years.
The battle of Armageddon is described in Rev.19. It's also described in Eze.39, only there, it's the battle of Gog and Magog, which is described in Rev.20. They're the same battle.
The problem is that you're looking at Gods' people the way the world sees us, not how God sees us.
Then Satan is imprisoned for a thousand years (Rev. 20:1-3).

Just before Armageddon the 1st resurrection of all the Saints occurred. Another name for this is the Rapture. These Christs "brings with Him" as He descends upon the earth. Many risen saints fight alongside Christ's angels at Armageddon (1 Thess. 4:13-18; Ps. 110:3)
The 1st resurrection is when people are born again. I've already told you Satan can only be imprisoned, bound, unable to destroy the Messuah and those who believe in him. The gospel is preached so that,

he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Rev.20:3

Satan can only be freed if people believe a false gospel, a perversion of Gods' word.
But Death isn't done away with until the Great White Throne Judgment, which is at least 1,000 years after Christ's return. Your chronology seems a bit confused.

Perhaps you can give us a outline of the events in the order they happen.
I already have. Look at the scripture I cited alongside the scripture you cited. They match exactly. Death is done away in Christ,

because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. Rom.8:2

We won't be harmed when he appears in all his glory. Only the unrepentant are burned by him, Like the OT says,

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be verytempestuous round about him. Psa.50:3

Our Kings' second appearing will be a fire storm,

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 2Thes.2:8

This passage says the beast is destroyed by Christs' presence. Rev.19 says the beast is thrown into the lof, bcause Gods' very Person is like a lake of fire.

11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.
13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,
18 "that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great."
19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.
20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh. (Rev. 19:11-20:1 NKJ)

20:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison
8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.
9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.
10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (Rev. 20:1-21:1 NKJ)
Jesus teaches that God has always reigned on earth. Believers have always suffered on earth. Even when the ungodly say,

We will not have this man to reign over us. Lk.19:14

He's still ruling over them. God says,

my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. Isa.55:8

Today, many congregations are mistaking the mercy our Lord Jesus showed toward people who violently sinned against him, with Christ not reigning over them. People are blind to how the Messiah was reigning over sinners in mercy. It's stunning. The devil is running all over the place.

Yes sir, peace is one thing we Christians do have to a degree, but to me it is the contentment that we receive. Peace can be interrupted from worldly influences. Take our exemplar for example, would you say he had peace when his own brothers and sisters of the faith abused him? But he definitely had contentment, knowing he was pleasing his God.
I think our Lord was grieved by unbelief in people. I think God coming to us with only good things and being miserably assaulted hurt him terribly. I believe the peace Jesus had and gives to us is connected to who he is and where we're going.
You're right about trials that come to us,

these things I have spoken to you, that in me ye may have peace, in the world ye shall have tribulation, but take courage -- I have overcome the world. Jn.16:33 😊

No, you said everything is burned up at Christ's return. That means the 1,000 year Millennial kingdom never comes into existence, and neither does the Great White Throne judgment AFTER it.

That is why I asked for a simple outline detailing the chronology of events. That is not asking for too much. I posted mine here:

Everything perishable is burned up at Christs' coming,

For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
Gal.6:8
