I don't think that we can take this as a literal description of what the AC will look like in the flesh. (He could always have this appearance spiritually speaking, though). The AC is supposed to be so charismatic that even the elect could be fooled (but they aren't fooled because they are the elect).

Truth be told, the world is shallow, and people gravitate towards beautiful people to be their leaders. People gravitate towards beautiful people in general. In fact, I watched a study in my Psych class not too long ago that showed that the more handsome or pretty a suspect on trial was, the more likely they were to be found innocent of all charges. Let's face it, no one is going to elect and/or support an AC who is a one armed, one eyed pirate

This is all the Scriptures say on the subject of antichrist. Chapter and verse are listed so it is easy to read them in their context.

1Jn 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.


2Jn 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

We know and can see that the anti-Christ is a 'spirit' or what may be even more accurately defined as an anti-spirit, anti in the case of that spirit being 'against' Christ's Holy Spirit.

It is not then a question of 'a single individual' whatsoever, but the consortium of those spirits.

Obviously those spirits would be/are devils and demons.

Jesus in His earthly ministry clearly revealed the location of those spirits to be 'in' people. This is quite startling, that there are two (or more) entities occupying the same body/mind of flesh.

Believers do not like to hear this fact for themselves. Personally I have come to grips with this fact as Paul the Apostle defined for himself, as did John the Apostle defined for himself. Both of these Apostles 'pinpointed' this matter personally. Only God can put one through the paces of this fact and when He does so, that person is then 'in Truth' on this particular matter:

Paul defined the sin indwelling his flesh as 'not him' but the ever present working power of 'evil' with him. Paul's writings led me to conclude this is a scriptural fact for everyone, with the sole exception being God In Christ:

Romans 7:
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

For those who need clarification, Paul clearly identifies that the 'evil present' with him that sins is NOT HIM.

A more simple example is found within those who admit that the tempter, that would be Satan, thee Devil, inserts evil thoughts into their minds. Most believers accept this fact, as it is a fact, yet they have a hard time realizing that this does mean that Satan, thee Devil is within their minds and has access to same. This fact categorically places Satan in mankind.

So, you want to know where thee spirit of thee anti-Christ is?

Take John's advice, as it is exceptionally accurate, and you will no longer be looking on the outside of the cup or looking for an individual human being to be the anti-Christ:

2 John 2:

That's right. Those who are in Truth of this matter will know that:

A.) The anti-Christ is a spirit against Christ's Spirit
B.) This spirit is NOT THEM, but we are ALL constantly under attack within
C.) When this location is made personally, and you as a believer DIVIDE from that working, you are in fact AN OVERCOMER.

Welcome to your scriptural set of reality glasses.

We only see these facts if they are revealed to us by The Living Word.

Those who do not see remain in and under the control of the other working spirit.

God has called us all to divide from that working.

God IS dealing with more than 'just you' there in your mind and body. Wanna know 'why' tribulation comes to the believer? Just look to the adversary of your own mind and heart.

Many of you will not be able to take this information 'personally.' I am glad to tell you that working spirit of evil that you do have (please, no denials) is NOT YOU as Gods child, but, if you DENY this fact, you are in fact A SLAVE, still.

There is more to be said of course on this matter. If you take this fact and now turn to Romans 9:

20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

That my friends, is YOUR construction!

For every voice of the deceiver who denies this fact, I know who 'you' are and you are NOT fooling me any longer, within myself, or in others.

As to your literalism idea, one does not 'see' anti-Christ spirits with fleshly eyes, jes so ya kno.....

Spirits are known by their speakings and their actions...seen with flesh eyes, heard with flesh ears...but those actions remain 'spiritual' activities...the IMPetus being UNseen:

Where then are the anti Christ spirits?

When you read Jesus' Words here, WHO do you think the real liar in the false prophet IS???

Whenever you hear a 'false prophet' you are really hearing either thee devil or 'a' devil speaking from within that SHEEP and LYING.

These are such elementary principles. Satan 'enters' where The Word is sown...

Every believer who has read the above and has this thought: "That doesn't happen to me because I'm a believer" is having that thought from THE DEVIL in their minds, LYING in them and to them.

There is no dodging these facts:

Satan IS the anti-Christ spirit as are all devils

False prophets are the workings of DEVILS, and 'most' of their activity is within BELIEVERS i.e. SHEEP and MINISTERS.

Some will protest the fact that the Lord sends lying spirits, but if you read Jesus' Words you will see that the lying spirit comes to people who hear The Word.

To put a final nail in this coffin of truth:

All sin...(beyond scriptural dispute)

and

1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil

I hope any reading my (posts) realize that the anti-Christ spirit just got a little closer to your own door...because it's 'a fact.'

This verse has nothing to do with the anti-christ, it's about the shepherds (like pastors) who are foolish and leading their flock astray, like the Pharisees.

Everyone else in this thread understands the anti-christ is not a person, it is a spirit, it's in the world now, always was in the world. The spirit is in our gov'ts, schools, business' - in the world. That's why the world is so messed up!
