The Beasts of the Field???

In another thread there is a discussion about what is meant by the "beasts of the field." The answer led to this study about what was an historic event, is a current event and also a future event:


Daniel 2:28 But there is a God in heaven That revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;

2:31-33 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass. His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

Jeremiah 6:28 They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters.

The brass and iron are ALL corrupters and slanderers. Clay....we are created or formed of clay.


2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Together...as united at the time of the end (forming the sixth power), the kingdom of the beast [Revelation 13:].
Filled the whole earth....Thus marking the seventh kingdom, that of Messiah ~ E.W. Bullinger

The image is of Satan, the sixth power....666. The Rock, Jesus, breaks the "image of the beast," and becomes a great mountain (nation), seventh kingdom. The sixth seal, sixth vial and sixth trump are of Satan.


2:37-38 Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath He given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all.

Our Father gave Satan his kingdom and his kingdom is....the first beast of [Revelation 13:1-8]. This is the beast we must not worship....

Revelation 13:16-18 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six

God gives this "sixth" power to Satan and as shown in [Daniel 2:37-38], above, he uses this power wherever the children of men, beasts and fowl are and God made "thee ruler over them all!" The beasts and fowl are not tigers, elephants or pelicans. Think deeper for it gives understanding to....

Jeremiah 31:27 "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beasts."

Daniel 2:41-43 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Isaiah 64:8 But now O LORD, Thou art our Father; we are the clay, and Thou our Potter; and we all are the work of Thy hand.

Psalms 40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

Ezekiel 47:11 But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.

The Ezekiel Scripture pertains to the time after this age when all souls will be taught with no influence from Satan. Sadly, not all will be willing to learn. The clay that remains "miry," remains in the horrible pit....SHALL NOT BE HEALED.

As the image of the beast was described in Daniel and again in Revelation 13, (the first beast), we have recently been given a shadow of this same beast and it's outcome. Who writes this prediction? King Nebuchadnezzar himself foretells of the downfall of the image of the beast which is a shadow of the beast falling in the end of days...as well as what literally happened to him.


Daniel 4:13-16 I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven; He cried aloud, and said thus, 'Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches: Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth: Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.


We know that the iron and brass are....."grievous revolters, slanderers and they are all corrupters." [Jeremiah 6:28] When the tree is "hewn down," (the tree of knowledge of good and evil?), at the end of this age his power will be cut off, (his branches and leaves) and all the souls that follow him, the beasts and fowl, will be not be slain but will be taught during the millennium...nevertheless he himself will still be with us...locked away during the millennium but still a "stump of his roots left in the earth." That stump of the tree of knowledge of good and evil is left to test those that are taught during the millennium and many will again choose to follow him. [Revelation 20:7-10]


Saddam Hussein was a king of Babylon (Iraq) just as king Nebuchadnezzar was. They both point to the future destiny of Satan.

4:30-31 The king spake, and said, 'Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?' While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, 'O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.

4:32-33 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the MOST HIGH ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever He will.' The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.


Historically, King Nebuchadnezzar had a disease and those events happened to him. Recently the same thing was played out before our eyes with the latest king of Babylon....Saddam Hussein. Picture the great image of Hussein, his statue in Baghdad. When it was brought down...where did it break? At the weakest point...the feet and toes! Just as we saw his statue fall...so shall the image of the beast be broken....at the feet and toes where iron and clay are not mixed.

When the statue was taken down by CHRISTIANS what happened to the king? He was "driven from men" and lived among the "beasts of the field," the beasts being his army of followers. He was pulled out of what is termed a "spider hole" but should properly be named a serpent pit. What did he look like? "His hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws." And it was seven months from the time the statue was toppled until he was pulled out....."seven times shall pass over thee."

The question this thread hasn't yet answered is....who or what is the "iron and brass?" We know that clay is mankind and that the iron and brass are......."grievous revolters, slanderers and they are all corrupters." [Jeremiah 6:28] But...who are they? What are these entities that will mingle yet not cleave with mankind?

Wouldn't it be more productive to point out the error? In reading back through the thread I see that perhaps 90% of the post is Scripture. As we know that isn't in error...it shouldn't be difficult to select the error I made from the remaining percentage.

As far as who the iron and brass represent...I hoped someone like you that was interested in His Word would be able to help identify them. But, if not I'll keep searching.

Hey there ,,,, so still working on the beast thing hey ????? I saw it posted on another forum so I checked it out but sadly its like this one,,,,,maybe most people arent ready for that kind of a study anyhow I started researching it today so maybe I can find some interesting things on it.......
