Greetings dear Sister @Suna Ihm, greetings in the blessed name of Jesus. Hopefully the following scripture and teaching will add to understanding what Adam did.
Act 15:14 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. We are presently a part of that great commission of God as He seeks a bride for Jesus much like the example we read of in Genesis Chapter Twenty-four. Abraham (type of our Father) sent his eldest servant Eliezer (Holy Spirit in type) Gen 24:2 to seek a wife from his own people unto his son Isaac (type of Jesus). Gen 24:4. Rebekah was to be that bride. Gen 24:15.
Jesus was also not deceived into taking our sin.
1 Cor 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam (Jesus) was made a quickening spirit. Like Jesus freely taking place with us to be one with us, Adam did the same with Eve.
Php 2:7 But (Jesus) made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

“Then the woman tempts her husband. She induces him to eat. He is not deceived in any measure, but eats with full understanding of the consequence. As we read, "Adam was not deceived; but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." I Timothy 2:14. She usurped authority over the man and caused his fall; but it was not against his will. He knew she was fallen, but he loved her and would not live without her. He had said previously that she was flesh of his flesh and bone of his bones. He cannot desert her now. How wonderfully significant this is of Christ and His love and attitude toward the wife of His choice. He also, as the first Adam, identified Himself with her in her ruined condition. She was fallen, but He stooped to share her shame and penalty. But here the antitype goes far beyond the type. Christ came down to her estate that He might lift her up to His exalted place as the Son of God. Adam could fall into the mire with her, but he could not lift her out. "Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for it, that He might sanctify it, having cleansed it with the washing of water by the Word, that He might present it to Himself, the assembly glorious, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish." Ephesians 5:25-27. R.V. “
Blessings in Christ Jesus.
