The Bible As A DNA Strand
It is interesting that when God created man he first created the flesh and then 'breathed' the breath of life into him giving the flesh a spirit, God's own spirit. This duality of man, as flesh and spirit, is seen throughout the structure of our universe as matter is shown to be both a particle and wave at the same time, the duality of matter. Also in biology we have the same duality of life where the DNA and protein cannot be considered a separate independent process, each one needs the other to maintain an existence.
When the bible states that man was created in the image of God we see that this likeness encompassed a duality of nature, whereby, as God forms a trinity of three persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), man was created in the likeness of God (but not an exactness). Man, by God's design, therefore forms a duality of existence that is evidenced in nature by other forms of duality, i.e., matter as both a wave and particle simultaneously and life as both DNA and protein, also simultaneously.
The backbone of DNA is based on a repeated pattern of a sugar group and a phosphate group. Here again we see the duality of God's creation, sugar and phosphate. When God created man as flesh, then spirit, he was replicating his entire creation as matter has duality as both particle and wave, and biology has duality as DNA and protein, and the DNA has its own duality as sugar and phosphate. (also in Chemistry you have an acid and base, once again a duality of existence.)
In fact God shows us his sense of purpose and design in that the Bible can be looked upon as replica of a DNA strand. God designed man with a biology of duality that is built upon the DNA strand to replicate and construct the flesh that the spirit indwells. The bible is constructed like a DNA strand as it is constructed as a chain of books that is used to construct separate 'spiritual proteins' ( to highlight Good and Evil) of God's wisdom and spirit to keep man's soul alive and seeking righteousness and salvation.
The 10 commandments also shows this duality of God's creation in that the first 5 commandments pertain to the spirit and the next five are applicable to the flesh.
God Bless
note:
As a side note I have always looked upon the nation of Israel as a reflection of God's prophetic imprint as the size of Israel is so small that God knew the Israelite's would not be the people who would spread the message of God's salvation to the rest of the world. A salvation that is offered to man through the belief in God's son Jesus Christ through his death and resurrection on the cross. Equally God knew that those who would believe and spread the gospel of God's salvation through his son Jesus Christ would be large and numerous and would need, not a small nation like Israel, but a large and expansive land like America. If we turn our backs on our belief in God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit, (our christian faith) God will turn this great nation back into a small nation like Israel that lacks any purpose except to struggle to preserve its own existence against its enemies.
