The Bishop is a man running around New England (last seen) telling every one he is the Bishop.
People give him money.
He puts out a plate at festivals, art displays, etc... and simply puts a sign next the plate that reads "The Bishop".
I've never met the Bishop.
But Anita's family made friends with him thinking he was some kind of Holy Man and so they should give him money.
Of course, I wouldn't insult them and say they were being scammed.
A couple of them didn't take to the Bishop.
I started thinking, a Bishop is in charge of other priests and churches.
This guy was in charge of nothing.
He said he was between assignments.
So again I started thinking.
Is the word Bishop an active noun?
I say yes.
I say the title is obsolete unless one is in charge of other churches and priests.
What do you say?
