It seems to me, that the strange animals, in revelation, give us insight, into the reason God finally destroys the earth. These genetically experiments, producing animals that are half goat, half spider(this actually sounds like one of the animals described, 'full of eyes', like a spider) are such an abomination.
Revelation describes this forlorn creatures, these animals, giving praise to God. Animals DO give praise to God. I have seen my puppy, take the first pieces of her food, lay it on the ground, and dance around it, before consuming the rest of her food. She was giving thanks to God for her food.
birds sing in the morning, as the sun rises. they are worshipping God. they are not singing for mates, or territory, they are worshipping God.
And when these tormented animals, sing and praise God, it makes his heart swell up with such shame at the ugliness of humanity, and it is something you would have to feel, and understand emotionally. To imagine, this half goat, half spider, worshipping God, in it's tragic state, certainly God would destroy humanity for their infinite abominations, if He were just. That is what a wise man would say.
