The Brothers Grimm

Terrible. Stopped watching it after about thirty minutes. Plot was very hard to follow and jumped around everywhere.

I never read the Grims fariy tales to my kids , they were to violent and scary for kids IMO. I don't want to watch the movie it would be a waste of money. Hope no one takes a child to see it. :o

Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.

I loved the Grimm fairy tales as a kid. I can remember reading them and watching PBS mini-movies about them. They had this gothic feel about them that would have been a great combination now with Tim Burton's touch in moviemaking. I think their stories were easily better than Hans Christian Anderson's.

As for the movie, I want to see it because I liked their stories so well as a kid. That and the fact that its directed by Terry Gilliam who also did one of my favorite movies, the apocalyptic thriller 12 Monkeys. I really don't have any expectations or ideas of what the movie is about specifically, and I think that makes it easier to judge it fairly.
