The Christian God - the Most High God

On what really, do we base our basis that our God is the Most High God?
Other beliefs claim also that theirs are.
Has there been a contending between Supernaturals or do we just stand on the Word of God on the issue?

Pharoah saw and believed.
Many of us Christians run from one denomination to another - from one church to another, seeking the bigger God and miracle.

Thanks for the quick reply. I think Pharoah had his magicians do the same thing Moses did. But the difference was made when the bigger Contender became dominantly victorious.
Same would have happened if God had not stopped the prophets of ball and their gods.

Brother Classic, to me first came belief. Why, because God called me, He gave me the measure of faith, and as the cliché says: the proof is in the pudding. I'm assured that at least two were raised from the dead through prayer for them immediately. My own life has been delivered again and again at which times He never failed of forsook me. In desperation,He actually made ways out of no way for me ensuring not only my welfare but the family He gave me.

For a time there was a cute song and saying: I found Him." Hardly, God found me lost in the world, gave His Son, and welcomed me into glory as His son, and adopted into all the benefits of the first born. If there is a god demanding higher reference than my God, and of course there is one (Satan) that once ascended proclaiming that place that will soon be cast out to torment those left here when we're gone. Yes!!! I do worship the Most High God.

He is the Lord of Host all that was created was created through Him. The heavens sing Him praise the star the sun the moon and all that dwells on this earth they sing His praises too. All of which live and function in harmony and dependent on each other .... dependent upon Him(His design). Man since the fall has looked away from God to the world for answers seeking independence which has only brought pain and suffering.. He is the living God ... If you do not know......... it is time to be still and wait on Him
