We have a good Ham. I rarely eat pork... unless it is Kosher... ;-)

We also have a nice big ham, my daughter in -law makes the best ham I've ever eaten. !

Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.

None of the above. We have lutefisk, and if you don't know what that is, then you truly have something to be thankful for. 8-)

Tarra ,

Im curious what exactly is lutefisk ? :o

If I'm correct, It's a Norweigan dish that is absolutely putrid. I have not had the "pleasure" of eating it because my mother burned the recipe. 8-)

It's a Norwegian delicacy--treated cod, I think. It's very bland, but it's tradition. The trick is to pile on lots of potatoes and veggies, and to add just a tiny bit of lutefisk. My family always has an annual Christmas competition to see who can eat the most lutefisk. I've never won. :P

Ohh so that's what it is. Sounds like an interesting dish.

Let's just say it's an acquired taste.

those are the worst kind. any food that i have to actually work to enjoy can not be worth it.

We have wild turkey. Every year they hang around and my 6 cats gang up on them and kill one, but it's too big for them all to eat so we roast it instead. :-D

Not to be confused with "Wild Turkey Straight Bourbon Whiskey".

My family generally either has turkey or ham. Just depends on what we can afford or what we have. We might have ham this year because Daddy made one from part of the hog we killed earlier last month. Who knows, though?

Oops, forgot to change the color!
