The Church is World Friendly

Today more then ever the church as a whole must be different then this world. When the church is yelling about the need for separation of Church and state they are in truth a walking contradiction. You may ask, 'How are they being a contradiction?' Every church who is in covenant with their state is not separated from the state. They in essence make the government the head of their church. There is only ONE Head of the Church and His name is Jesus.

Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

The truth is once we succumb to the ways of the Word we will find it hard to escape it's corruption. This truth is being manifested everyday in today's Christianity and in today's churches. This must stop. People need to come out from the world and be holy as He is holy. How can one who is married to the Whore be not soiled by her whordom?

Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. (1Co 6:15-17 KJVR)

Today they have their "worship" bands and high priced CDs - they have their college educated preachers with their nice silk suites - their glass cathedrals and fancy pipe organs - all that looks wonderful and godly right? However as the above verse states - when you sleep with a whore you become ONE with them.

Today in these churches there is no conviction. They wont preach against sin because then it would condemn their own lives as well. This is not a message of legalism it is a message of power to be more then just another religion of this world. We must stop beingt the Worlds Friend!

Jas 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

If you recall Sam - I am not referring to the world acting worldly I am referring to the so called saved who are acting Worldly. I believe too many today remain silent on this issue because they fear rocking the boat. However I am not.

That is what I am referring to in my last post, perhaps just from a different angle. When the Church behaves like the rest of the World, how then does anyone expect the World to behave differently.

There are several reasons why its the way it is, one the Scriptures tell us such a time will come. But much of it, must be laid at the feet of the big religious organizations. Their pragmatic attitudes, and watered down Gospels for obtaining more membership. Do not produce Saved members, but religious practitioners. Who live no different from society in general.

So the bottom line in answer to your question; is are these people saved to begin with ????.

Ok good was a bit of misunderstanding bro. So let's take this a bit further if I may. You said:

I do understand the question and I have asked that also. However if the churches today who are behaving as the world - which is 99.999999% of them - are not saved this is my point. There are very few who are saved then. The churches today who are Incorporated and preachers who are licensed and world driven educated are then NOT SAVED - right? (of course the question is rhetorical

Well I don't really like to be judgmental, lest I be judged by the same manner. But I can - look at the fruit that they bear.

If you interpret Revelation 3:14-19, you will see a prefect picture of the Church today. The one just before the return of the Lord.

J. Vernon McGee who had a radio program for years, once said that only 1 in 10 Church members were saved, and that was years ago.

This is also similar to the time of Jesus. The rich young ruler who wanted to follow Christ, but turned away when Jesus told him to sell what he had and come and 'follow me'. The rich man turned away sorrowful because he had many possessions. Jesus turned to the disciples and said...

Luke 18:24-27
How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26 And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?
27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. KJV

Yes, sounds like Revelation 3:14-19 is a repeat of this incident! Somehow, we seem to think it is the rich, the wealthy that will be FIRST in the kingdom of heaven. No wealth does not make anyone unworthy of the kingdom of God, but trusting in that wealth does have it's unworthy consequences.

This is also a description of those in the Church in the last days, much as just described in Revelation 3:. Holding a form of religion, but lacking any Holy Spirit life changing power. If you notice above in 2Timothy, Paul is not talking about the world here. This is proven by verse 3:5.

Nobody wants to be told they are sinful anymore, or many things they do are not in line with the Scriptures. They like preachers like Joel Osteen who can direct you straight to Hell, so you don't even pass go. Worldly Preachers who talk about self esteem, and how God has a wonderful plan for your life, which includes great cars, nice houses, money in the bank, and all the Worldly indulgences you can verily stand!. Who don't want to depress you by talking about sin, or the need to repent, just have a wonderful time, "Going Down", the next stop Hell.

In the story of Jesus given in Luke 14:16-24, there is a time the church goers, are invited to a
wedding supper (in heaven) but excuse themselves and don't come/go to the supper. Then the
invitation to the wedding goes to those in the highways and hedges (non-church goers)....

The story prompts me to judge myself, not others...AM I SAVED? or am I making EXCUSES and get distracted from that which is most important....?

As the above Scciptures say, the churches are supposed to be unpopular but the churches in free countries are so friendly to the world. Most churches are aiming to be popular. It is because they have to have many members to support their pastors and priests. Without the members they do not function as organization.
