"Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. hen He said to His disciples, 'The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:35-38

:goodpostI love that portion of Scripture. When I was in Bible College, that verse became my marching orders. Not only did I spread the Gospel, but encouraged others by setting an example to others as I went out to witness in various situations. The very first person who received Jesus as his Lord and Savior, was a man in a rest home who had neither arms or legs. Other people were afraid to enter his room because they didn't know what to say to him. The Holy Spirit prompted me to enter and He gave me the words to speak, He received the Lord of Whom I was speaking about, and died and went home about a month later. I will never forget how joyful that event made me. Praise Jesus for His power in the death, burial, and resurrection. I found that the Holy Spirit is really the One witnessing, He only needs a laborer!:cross
