The Creation of Plant Life

Oh yeah huh? :)

Doh. If Jesus's light wont support life then I'ma in the wrong religion, lol. :)

Jesus put that Sun just where He wants it on this Earth.Without it well....read post #14 it would not be pretty.Same goes for the Moon.

So if God created the plant life on the third day, and the light (sun) on the fourth day...how did the plants survive without light?

How do martyrs (true Christians) today survive (until Yhwh's appointed time for them) in a dark wicked world that loves darkness ?

The same way the plants did without a sun? :yes :thumbsup

Maybe this original "light" is the backround radiation we only recently detected.

Ooh, here's another thought: we only recently discovered life that is not based on light-energy from the sun. Weird tube-like critters living in seemingly impossible conditions of heat and pressure around geothermal vents on the ocean floor. Suppose the sun were to go out: would geothermal life then blossom and overtake the sphere as the dominant taxonomic kingdom? And would this be hellish life-form if you believe as some that Hell is at the center of the earth? It is God's light from above that is literally keeping Dark Life at bay on this planet. Were He to remove his presence and essence, the Earth would almost immediately begin falling into Satan's dominion.

So you know where hell is?

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world.

Planted seed or grown plants?. Seeds waits for light. Seeds stay dormant until they get rain and sunlight to grow. Maybe it was just a planted seed that would later grow.

They had to be plants originally. Let the earth bring forth grass, is what it says. not grass seed. Like which came first, the chicken or the egg...had to be the chicken so it could lat an egg! :)

I was saying hypothetically, based on what some people believe.

I've heard some of this. I think that it may or may not be at the center of the earth...or at least the gates/doorway. We have to remember that we basically live in parallel universes and the gateway or portal to it may be accessed through the earth.

My personal opinion is that Hell is at the center of the Earth. In some translations, Jesus "descended into the lower parts of the earth". But Hell is also separated from life on the surface by being in a different dimension as well. After all, is is a spiritual place, though not "nice" spiritual. So parallel universe works for me. 2 degrees of separation, not just one.

Alternate theory is that portals point downward, but are "wormholes" that transport you someplace else in the universe, sort of like Stargate or Contact (well-made movie, but was atheistic at the end). I don't subscribe to this theory.

BTW, when I use the term "Hell", I tend to use it in a generic sense that can mean Hades/Sheol or Gehenna. This is simply because people in general use the term broadly. I tend to think Hades/Sheol = Hell 1, and Gehenna = Hell 2. But, I appreciate that other people use a different taxonomy. I really don't know how to clear up the confusion, other than to say "Just stay away from Hell".

I think Hell 1 is at the center. I have no idea where Hell 2 is.

Yep. Hope I never find out! :)

Say Edward do you believe there are plants in heaven?
