The End of Everything

Interesting video.I believe the Bible says the Earth is about 6,000 years old.But this guy has another theory.

Jason, do you think we goys can ever understand the Jewish "Heaven & Earth" (temple) view?

good luck even though I can see that quote as being the end of creation and I do. the jews also teach that creation is destroyed. however at times I can see the redemption of creation too from that. one cant say for sure until it happens. for those that don't know. the idea of heaven and earth is where God met with man in Jerusalem via the temple. now he mets man via the cross and dwells in the believer. the new heaven and the new earth.

I really do believe simply "getting" that concept would make a large percentage of prophecy suddenly so clear to modern men.

we are all guilty of trying to read bible as if it was written to us today. it isn't. its written for us back then.

I wonder if that has anything to do with our egocentric AMERICAN attitude, or if the same thing applies in other, less developed countries.

I don't know. I know from here the other Christians that aren't Canadian nor American tend not be futurists. that is if they aren't influenced by us. I cant say for sure. just making an observation.

I agree that the Bible was written for the ignorant back then.People that were unaware of Christ's enlightenment. Ive seen people living their adult lives in sin and then repenting afterwords like they had no idea that it was a sin.The Bible which in my opinion is a guide book for moral living has been around long enough that even those that haven't read it have gotten the jist of it.Partaking in "casual" sin then running down to the Church and repenting at the last minute just for admittance to Heaven is a joke in my opinion.I think it takes proof of character which takes time that will allow one into His Kingdom.Thats just my opinion.

Sadly, not that many people ever come to understand grace.
