Mar 3:29, But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

He that blasphemeth the Holy Ghost is in danger of eternal damnation.

It does not say here that eternal damnation is his necessary and inevitable fate.

Consider.

2Sa 14:14, For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any person: yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him.

The person who blasphemes the Holy Ghost "hath never forgiveness".

Here is the alternative:

Act 3:19, Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

If you are converted, then your sins may be blotted out; which is the equivalent of forgiveness.

Nevertheless, I would say that actual forgiveness must in some way be better than its equivalent;

And therefore, if you have not blasphemed the Holy Ghost, I would advise you against doing it.

But if you have, all is not lost.

There is hope for you in what I am preaching in this thread.

Paul E. Michael, understand what I am saying to you.

Jhn 6:37, All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
