Revelation 6: 9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Do you think the fifth seal represent the persecution of the believers during the Great Tribulation?

First of the seals (white horse) in Revelation 6 has already fulfilled; I reckon it refers to "Arab Spring", took place in the end of the year 2010. Many Middle-eastern countries’ governments had been toppled in this incident, which caused IS to be expanded and grow bigger.

We are in between first to third seal. I don’t know whether suicide bombers and “lone wolf” attacks can be considered as the second seal (red horse), maybe it is not.

Just wait and see whether “hyperinflation” take place or not in the short coming future (black horse), if it does then suicide bombers and “lone wolf” attacks is the second seal.
