You're referring to the St George's flag?

actually he has nothing to do with it - he had nothing to do with England, our true patron saint lies buried here forsaken and forgotten - St.Joseph should by rights be our patron saint and his feast day is on 17th March but completly ignored and not a single Church, school or road or monument to his honour or memory = forsaken and forgotten - twinc

You mean the myth of the Glastonbury Thorn, Joseph's staff that supposedly budded?

...but how do you know it really belonged to Joseph, and, if it did, what difference does it make anyway?

in that location and at that time every shepherd had a staff - so would the good Shepherd - the staff would be handed on to the nearest male next of kin - so guess who got the staff of the good Shepherd to use as a stake to stake a claim to England for Christ - twinc

England is in the bible. It is the mother that bore a daughter that eventually gets destroyed. Also a mention that the land will be barren and the mother will be ashamed she bore her.
