"To whom He also presented presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking seen by them during forty days." Acts 1:3
Is there anything or anyone on this planet that is infallible? I don't think so. All of mankind is fallible. We make mistakes all the time. In fact that is how we learn, but our mistakes. Most of the highest achievers on the planet have "failed their way to the top." All of the high tech gadgets that we make are inclined to break down. Cars, computers, smart phones, ipads, all of them will break down and wear out eventually.
Yet we have had one person on the planet that was infallible. That was Jesus. He was perfect and followed the will of His father to His death to redeem us from our sins. His word, the Bible, is also infallible. It is the authentic, authoritative Word of God.
As satan did to Eve in the garden, he would have us question whether God and His Word are infallible. But we must never doubt the truth of the Bible. We may not always understand all of the Bible or God's ways or the circumstances we experience. God's thoughts and way are much higher than ours. (Isaiah 55:8-9) Because God is infallible, however, we accept all the circumstances of life as the will of God and permitted for our good. His promises are just as sure as He is. God cannot lie.
We read God's Word with reverence, lest we come short in obedience, for we surely are fallible. But we thank God for His mercy that is available through Christ's redeeming blood.View attachment 4645
