Dear friends, here is an absolutely wonderful video that details the time we are living in, the deception that is being foisted upon us, what we can expect to come, and how we are 'personally' effected by this attack by Satan.

In this Lecture, Professor Veith unveils how the Jesuits started and are continuing their counter- reformation against the protestant reformation. This video is part of an 11 part series entitled Rekindling the reformation. Another production of Amazing Discoveries. for more info, visit http://www.amazingdiscoveries.org

Here is the video link. God Bless.

The video did not seem profitable, or worthwhile to me. It was about the same level as a Jack Chick Tract.

I do not oppose talking about our doctrinal differences with followers of Rome, but this thread is in bad taste and I hope it is removed.

Mark of the beast stuff. The thread doesn't suit "my tastes" so it should be removed?! So, instead of respecting other people's right to be wrong (if indeed they are) it is best to snuff their "free speech." Interestingly this mindset actually gives rise to the truth of the video in that if it wasn't true there would be no reason to want it removed!

Jesuit Oath

Bottom line is simply this. Christianity is changing. At first it was very subtlety. Now it is ramping up to include obviously non-Christian thought and ideas regarding Jesus Christ and salvation. The advent of this movement can be traced back to it's source - the counter-Reformation of the Jesuits.

RND,
What is the purpose of the flick? Do you think this is a good way to convert Catholics? Or is it to rally the emotions of protestants?

I would say both are true.

mdo,
You really think it would convert Catholics by raising the emotional level and talking about those murderous Jesuits who persuaded kings to kill protestants?

Are do you think it would be better to talk about something like the complete sufficiency of the finished crosswork of Christ (as opposed to transubstantiation)? Or maybe the issue of faith alone?

Simple information. I'm neither trying to convert Catholics nor "rally the emotions" of Protestants after all, one would need to know what they are "protesting" in order to call themselves a Protestant.

I think I made my intentions known right from the onset in my comments.

(1) The time we are living in
(2) The deception that is being foisted upon us
(3) What we can expect to come
(4) How we are 'personally' effected by this attack by Satan

For example, in referring to the time we are living in that encapsulates all, both Catholic and Protestants as well as others, Hindu's Buddhist's, Muslim's, etc. Neither are any of us immune from deception or what we can expect to come. Lastly, we are all 'personally' effected by Satan's attacks against us.

Hopefully you can now get a bit of the picture and gain some understanding as to what I was driving at.

I believe that self examination is good for the soul.

Though you didn't ask me I'll answer none-the-less.

I don't. But that is really only half of the point anyway. How many Catholics even know the history of the Jesuits? How many are aware that in spite of what the church says the lecture demonstrates clearly that the church's teaching regarding salvation outside of the church has never changed?

Are do you think it would be better to talk about something like the complete sufficiency of the finished crosswork of Christ (as opposed to transubstantiation)? Or maybe the issue of faith alone?
I think that would be an excellent place to start! How many Catholics refuse to believe that however? How many are simply willing to accept the dogma of the church that the wafer inculcates the mind of the laity that this is the entire body and blood of Jesus?
