The LORD GOD is Whom we should serve. And The LORD has already foretold what to expect of the powers over us in these last days, we simply need to listen to Him in His Word.

In the Book of Joel God showed us about the locust army HE SENDS upon the earth, and that army is to literaly rape the wealth of His people upon the earth. When it's over, He also promised to restore.

Joel 2:25
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, My great army which I sent among you.

It's a little late in the day to be wondering how the powers in this world seemingly get away with stealing the wealth of peoples. They're not going to get away with it. We are to have patience, keep The Faith, and wait on The LORD for His coming while becoming strong in The Spirit in order to make a spiritual 'stand' against the beast that is coming. God has given us in the hand of the beasts for a time, and He showed us what we're supposed to be doing during that.

So the answer is yes, if anyone's thinking that the great financial hoaxes might be another sign that we're in the last days of this world prior to Christ's coming.

Yes, financial crises and economic disasters are part of the trials and horrors during the great tribulation, but it is only one part.

America may well be the last great Gentile nation before the one world government is formed and ruled by the “beastâ€. Why are we declining? One could site many reasons. But, just like Rome, we are consumed by our other gods – the gods of sports, political corruption, greed, the lack of concern for the 50 million abortions, the tendency of judges in various states and venues to call for acceptance of same gender unions - even in some churches, pornography and all kinds of immoral pleasures, such as occult activity, that are sending our country into spiritual decline.

In 1963, the Supreme Court ruled that Bible reading and prayer recitation should be removed from the nation’s schools. Once the moral guidelines in the Ten Commandments are removed from the youth of today, then there is only relativism and the knowledge of right and wrong are obscured. That is why evolution and alternate family life styles are on the increase, and in fact required in many institutions. If a Christian student is brave enough to admit they read the Bible, pray and go to church, then often they are berated, jeered, mocked and scoffed by the faculty. However, it is o.k. to stretch a condom over a cucumber and to teach the methods that one should employ to avoid sexually transmitted diseases.

In my volunteer Christian work, I have been scorned, mocked, chased, and had the police called to try have me and my friends evicted from school premises, even though we were on public property. Don’t get me wrong, there are some wonderful young Christians, but they are finding it more and more difficult to live out their faith.

I could go on and on about the moral decadence we’re facing in this country – such as the legalization of abortions in 1973 and the licensing of more and more freedoms for the homosexual communities, especially since 2003. But I don’t believe it is too late for us – If we obey the instructions God gave us in 2 Chronicles 7:14. I believe we can have a spiritual revival in our country, if we Christians stand up, speak up, wake up our churches and pastors, and if the Church of Jesus Christ becomes refined with the same fire and fervor of the early church. They were those who would obey God, rather than the laws of man, when those laws are a direct affront to a holy God, and are in direct opposition to the precepts and instructions laid down in the Holy Scriptures.

Remember that the pen is mightier than the sword. We have email, phones, letters and elected representatives who will often listen. When a law is poised to be debated and the majority of the Americans rise up and peacefully protest, applying the necessary pressure, the outrage and feelings of the good and decent people who live in the towns, villages, cities, and urban areas can still prevail, but we can’t wait much longer. Otherwise, we are on the verge of falling into a Socialist state, with limited personal freedoms, and even, I worry, may have our freedom of speech taken away. Please pray for our leaders and for our president every day, even if you did not vote for him. With God’s help, we can awaken out of our slumber and get our country back on the track it should be – a country of God-fearers and freedom-loving men and women who consider their greatest treasure to be freedom of religion.
